Frequently asked questions.
How does this process work?
After your initial inquiry via email or phone, I will send you my general Client Intake Questionnaire. This will help me learn a bit more about your unique situation and know if you are looking for overnight care, live in care, or consultation related to specific concerns. Afterwards we will speak via phone or email in order to discuss your needs and how we can work together. If I am available for your overnight or live in needs after deciding on arrangements we will sign a contract for the agreed upon terms. Whenever overnight or live in care is booked a nonrefundable deposit is required.
How far will you travel?
I work throughout Los Angeles county and Orange County and am always happy to discuss if I am available for overnight care where you live. Generally for overnights I am able to travel up to 45 minutes from my home, Long Beach,CA. I am also available for 24/7 live in care, nationwide and have traveled for clients all over the country.
When should I book care?
I recommend booking care during your pregnancy, or as soon as you’ve decided that you’ll want support once your newborn is here! I am happy to meet with clients prenatally and book care in advance so that they are confident when their newborn arrives, I will be available. Sometimes I do have openings and clients can book after their baby has been born, so don’t feel that you have waited too long to seek help!
Can I hire you for a few specific needs?
I am happy to assist you with the specific needs or concerns you might have. If you feel like you have several “little problems” or are unsure where to start my consultation is the best place to start. I will send you my preliminary questionnaire and when we have our virtual chat we can tackle those exact issues that have been on your mind!
How can we work together during COVID-19?
During this time while we are implementing social distancing and the immediate time after, I am available for both in home care, virtually for consultations, and via text and phone call. For in-home care I am only working with one family at a time and will have no overlapping contracts. When working in my clients’ homes I hold myself to a high standard of hygiene, and frequently wash my hands in addition to using hand sanitizer. During this time I have implemented new practices including the following in order to keep your family and myself safe. I am fully up to date with all vaccinations and boosters. The health and safety of the families I work with is of the utmost importance to me. I am always transparent about my own health and practices. If you have any questions about beginning in home care during this time please contact me.
